Episode 155 – All Jacked Up and Full of Worms – Director Alexander Phillips

Folks! Super excited for this week’s chat with Alexander Phillips, the director of the future cult classic, ALL JACKED UP AND FULL OF WORMS!

I knew nothing about WORMS going into my preview, other than it was getting rave reviews from the horror film festival circuit. I hit the bong extra hard that evening and strapped myself in for a hell of a ride. I suggest you do the same. 😉

My notes from that viewing were, “Couldn’t stop watching. No idea what’s going on. Just couldn’t believe what was happening in front of my eyes. And it worked. I liked it. A lot of things have to go right for something like this to work so well. How do you do it? How do you prepare for something like that?”

I don’t recommend this film to my mother or even most “normal” people, whatever that means. It’s a film for those who want something off the beaten path, who want to be transported to another world and want to experience WORMS. Lots and Lots of Worms.

In this week’s chat we connect with Alex to talk WORMS! We chat about the making of the film, how someone decides to make a fucked up drug trip of a film, how you find your community, mental health and oh so much more in this early morning chat about a late night movie.

All Jacked Up And Full of Worms is now streaming exclusively on SCREAMBOX, a new horror movie streaming service from the folks as Cinedigm & Bloody Disgusting.

In our chat we also talk about Alex’s short film, Who’s A Good Boy. Watch that short at Alex’s Vimeo page, or embedded below.
